Climate changes everything.

Arup’s journey to net zero.

ARUP

The Challenge:

Arup is a renowned global firm of engineers, architects, consultants, and technical specialists famous for some of the world’s most iconic structures. Their portfolio is broad and deep, and so is their focus. But recently they’ve retooled their capabilities around resilience in the face of looming climate change. As key sponsors of the United Nation’s climate change conference (COP26), Arup wanted a new positioning to reflect their commitment to designing sustainably.

The Solution:

The platform “Climate Changes Everything” is a rallying cry internally and externally for how Arup will go to market moving forward—the singular lens through which all projects will be evaluated. The positioning details the complexity of bringing real-world solutions, not just commitments, to solve for the most existential threat the world has faced through four key themes. To launch, Arup commissioned a new microsite to debut at COP26. As a company world famous for design, the site needed to showcase work with an impeccable aesthetic, which was brought to life through bespoke 3D environments that show the interaction of the built world with the existing environment.
